Our estate vineyard, Badger Mountain Vineyard, is located in the Columbia Valley AVA near Kennewick, Washington, and is recognized as Washington State’s first certified organic vineyard. Established in the early 1980s, the vineyard is farmed with a strong commitment to organic practices, avoiding synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers in favor of sustainable, soil-focused farming. The Columbia Valley’s dry climate, abundant sunshine, and steady winds create ideal conditions for organic viticulture by naturally limiting disease pressure and promoting healthy vine balance. These conditions, combined with careful vineyard management, encourage smaller berries with concentrated flavor, resulting in wines that are pure, vibrant, and expressive of both place and farming philosophy.
Champoux Vineyard
Champoux Vineyard is one of Washington State’s most historic and acclaimed vineyard sites, located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. First planted in 1972, its gently rolling slopes and sandy loam soils are home to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Muscat Canelli. The warm, sun-drenched days of the Horse Heaven Hills are balanced by cool evening winds from the Columbia River, creating a long growing season that promotes even ripening and natural acidity. These conditions, combined with mature vines and well-draining soils, consistently yield small, concentrated berries that produce wines with depth, structure, and exceptional aging potential.
Sheridan Vineyard
Sheridan Vineyard is a family-owned estate vineyard located in Washington’s Yakima Valley AVA, known for its focused plantings of Bordeaux varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The vineyard sits in a region defined by warm daytime temperatures, cool nighttime shifts, and a long, consistent growing season that allows fruit to achieve full physiological ripeness while retaining balance. Careful site selection and meticulous vineyard management encourage low yields and intense fruit concentration, resulting in small berries with rich color, firm tannins, and layered complexity. These growing conditions translate into wines with power, structure, and a distinctly polished expression of Washington Cabernet Sauvignon.
Kiona Vineyard
Kiona Vineyard is located in the Red Mountain AVA, one of Washington State’s most acclaimed growing regions for premium Bordeaux varieties. Planted in the late 1970s by the Williams family, the vineyard is known for its pioneering role in establishing Red Mountain as a world-class winegrowing site. The vineyard is primarily planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and other Bordeaux varieties, grown on steep, south-facing slopes of well-drained, sandy loam soils. The warm, arid climate and intense sunlight of Red Mountain create naturally low yields and thick-skinned berries, producing fruit with deep color, firm tannins, and powerful structure. Wines sourced from Kiona Vineyard are known for their concentration, richness, and distinctive sense of place driven by one of Washington’s most distinctive terroirs.
